Born and raised in Adelaide, Leigh Qurban quickly rose through the ranks of the
Australian comedy scene featuring and hosting with his observational, relatable
and, at times quirky, material. Frequently touring around the country, Leigh has
taken sold out shows to the Perth, Darwin, Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne
International Comedy Festival whilst also performing to crowds in New York and
Edinburgh. His comedic talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, and he has been awarded
Kings of Comedy Comedian of the Year, Adelaide Comedy’s “Peer Choice”
Award, Adelaide Comedy’s Comedian of the Year and has also been crowned a
winner in the One Cover Insurance “One Thing Comedy Competition” AUS/NZ.
Described as an effective storyteller and a larrikin, Leigh has proven to be a crowd
favourite to a broad audience. Leigh has also shown off his comedic acting talent
in the widely popular festival shows “Wudidonga Arts Revue” ,
“Worst Side Story” and raising thousands of dollars for Foodbank Australia in "Quonny and Qurbs: Sell Your Stuff"
